Its time to Geek out



Volume 1

 Last year I picked up The Web Designer's Idea Book, and if I do say so myself, its pretty fantastic!!
I started out sticking a few post it notes on the pages I was interested in and soon I ran outta post-its so I started folding over pages and writing straight in the columns. ha ha. Eeep! 
(I rarely write in my books, but giggle maniacally when I do) Ahh its the little things...

I was boppin around on Amazon today, lookin at this and that (Updating my wishlist... etc.) and I came across PART TWO! Holy awesome! looks like its time bust out the VISA and spend the next week pouncing on the mail box. hee hee

Went to the Zoooo...

I had some out of town visitors a few weeks ago, and we decided to check out the Greater Vancouver Zoo. It was grumpy and drizzly out that day, until we got to the zoo... and outta no where the sky cleared up.

We checked out the Lion feeding and went on a train ride...

I don't recommend the train unless you are under 10years old. it wasn't worth the 5bucks a head.

But here's the real Question: What the hell are those big gopher looking things?? I know I read the sign when I was there, but apparently it didn't stick in my head.

Uhh... huge Gophers? Hamsters? dunno what these are?!?

Spring is Springing!

Got a chance to hit a few balls around the golf course on saturday... Deee-Lightful!!

Spring

Every year glorious springtime comes around and I feel a sense of renewal. Like the "long hard cold winter" and times of sacrifice will be over soon and life is getting better.
I am often too hard on myself and wish to achieve the most incredible things in the tiniest amount of time, (I was once told I am an overachiever, perfectionist. To which I replied, "No way, nothing I do is perfect" ha ha... uhhh, sigh)
So anyways when this "rejuvenation" time comes around I feel like its a second chance at completing a few goals. Here's one. Make a blog. :)
